In the current political climate environmental protection is not getting the attention it deserves. That's why we want to get even more active and build a network in the area. We want to give a voice to environmental and climate needs and help set up the region for the future, so that our kids and grandkids will also want to live here.

So we invite to the BUND (Friends of the Earth Germany) meetup and solarparty!

Solar energy and heat pumps are a key technology for more independence and climate neutrality. Yor roof, your lawn, your balcony - you can use those spaces to create solar energy and cover some of your electricity needs yourself, lower your bills and protect the environment. Our meetup gives interested people the opportunity to visit the private solar plant and heat pump in Kanthaus. We will have a casual exchange on all things solar and heat pump and you can ask questions to experts who have been handling these technologies in real life.

Program

• 15:00 Beginning with coffee and snacks (in the attic of Kanthaus)
• 15:15 Welcome and getting to know each other
• 15:30 Presentation of BUND and its activities in the region as well as Saxony
• 16:00 Presentation of BUND group in Wurzen with exchange on challenges faced
• 16:15 Introduction to solar power
• 16:45 Tour of the house, meaning the solar plant and heat pump - there will be room for questions
• 17:15 exchange with all interested people: Which activities around environmentalism do we want to start in the region?
