This meeting is to pinpoint the tasks for the next three months. We had a separate Room Planning Meeting some days before and will use the insights we gathered there in the task definition today.

Period of winter by Kanthaus definition: 2018-12-08 to 2019-03-01: 83 days, 11.8 weeks

Days we will spend at Kanthaus / we will spend doing planned roadmap work for Kanthaus:

(We separated and thought about the three categories of tasks mentioned below for 20 minutes individually before talking about the points together.)

Tasks we want to personally commit to:

• Matthias

  • Progressing humidity alarms
  • "Food is ready"-signalling (to be advanced into doorbell signalling)
  • Time controlled lighting for K22
  • Redoing WiFi Setup to increase coverage, speed and reliability (Goal: 5 GHz with at least -75 dBm in all rooms)
  • Financial breakdown / update
  • Exchanging one window (preferably for a sleeping room or otherwise used room)
  • Hold association meetings (first week of January ?)

• Thore

  • [Separation of Communal Closet and Private Storage]()
  • Sort Long-term Food Storage

• Lise

  • Sort and move Dry Food Storage (K22-B)
  • Continue sorting/improving Communal Closet
  • Position system: Spread and discuss the idea of a 4th status, get clearer on what the positions actually mean (especially in the context of evaluations)

• Tilmann

  • draft plan to improve heating situation. goals: reduce fossil energy usage, maintain comfort; methods: dry walls, better wall insulation, window replacement, roof insulation, electric heat pump
  • collect more rainwater
  • analyze current electricity usage & make plan for possible reductions
  • make hallway light k22 switchable (help Matthias)
  • improve ventilation in communal: install bigger and longer air ducts
  • install fume exhaust in kitchen (depends when kitchen should be moved)
  • more temporary cloth hangers in communal closet
  • improve project updates

  • Make the upper staircase toilet nice (remove wallpaper, plaster, paint)
  • Move bed sheets and covers into spare closet in communal closet
  • Progress implementation of intermediate room plan (move things, refine implementation plan)
    • Make dragon room into group office
  • Put more shelves in household free shop (save it from becoming crap room III!)
  • Find better tea solution (reusable tea marking system)
  • Make some desks explicitly claimable (some in silent office, some in office)

  • Report on Silicate paint
  • Winter window tasks: re-glue kupplungen, scrape/grease hinges, etc
  • Curtains: make a prototype, try it out, then research ;p
  • Synchronization: reduce time/energy needed to arrange in time
  • Make covers for cellar-street openings (excavate)

• chandi

  • Solar based charging station for laptops & phones
  • implement an RFID door system
  • include water utilities data calculation in weekly script

• Bodhi

  • finish 1 compost toilet (Tilmann offers help)
  • sorting stuff in the workshop and establishing a system where tools and other things have a clear place and can be put back easily
  • move stuff storage to K20-B (combined action with many people)
  • move food storage to K22-B (combined action with many people)
  • find a cool kitchen (Einbauküche) and start setting it up in K-22-1-1, parallel to the working kitchen in K20-1-2
  • Bike-locks: harder to lose

  • Sorting things in the basement (Drinks Storage, Pfand storage)
  • Refining crap room purpose (implement storage/sorting room)
  • Implementing jar system (only collecting jars of certain sizes)
